तस्मिन्‌ हते महेष्वासे राजपुत्रे महारथे । हाहाकारो महानासीत्‌ तव सैन्यस्य मारिष,आर्य! उस महाधनुर्धर महारथी राजकुमारके मारे जानेपर आपकी सेनामें महान्‌ हाहाकार मच गया

Transliteration

tasmin hate maheṣvāse rājaputre mahārathe | hāhākāro mahān āsīt tava sainyasya māriṣa ||

Translation

Sañjaya said: When that great archer—the royal prince, a mighty chariot-warrior—was slain, a tremendous cry of distress arose throughout your army, O revered one.
