तमात्तचक्रं प्रणदन्तमुच्चैः क्रुद्धं महेन्द्रावरजं समीक्ष्य । सर्वाणि भूतानि भुशं विनेदु: क्षयं कुरूणामिव चिन्तयित्वा,महेन्द्रके छोटे भाई श्रीकृष्ण कुपित हो हाथमें चक्र उठाये बड़े चोरसे गरज रहे थे। उन्हें इस रूपमें देखकर कौरवोंके संहारका विचार करके सभी प्राणी हाहाकार करने लगे
tam āttacakraṁ praṇadantam uccaiḥ kruddhaṁ mahendrāvarajaṁ samīkṣya | sarvāṇi bhūtāni bhṛśaṁ vineduḥ kṣayaṁ kurūṇām iva cintayitvā ||
Sañjaya said: Seeing Kṛṣṇa—the younger brother of Indra—wrathful, having seized his discus and roaring aloud, all beings cried out in great alarm, as though foreseeing the annihilation of the Kurus.
