Vāsudeva-Māhātmya: Duryodhana’s Inquiry and Bhīṣma’s Theological Account of Keśava

वासुदेवस्त्वसम्भ्रान्तो धैर्यमास्थाय सत्त्ववान्‌ | चोदयामास तानश्वान्‌ विचितान्‌ भीष्मसायकै:,परंतु शक्तिशाली भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्ण तनिक भी घबराहटमें न पड़कर धैर्यका सहारा ले उन घोड़ोंको हाँकते रहे। यद्यपि भीष्मके बाण उन अभश्वोंके सभी अंगोंमें धँसे हुए थे

Vāsudeva (Śrī Kṛṣṇa), unshaken and steadfast in spirit, held fast to patience and kept driving those horses on, though Bhīṣma’s arrows were lodged in every part of their bodies.
