भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ६२: वासुदेवमहात्म्यप्रशंसा (देव–ब्रह्मसंवादः)

यदि नाहं परित्याज्यो युवा भ्यामिह संयुगे । विक्रमेणानुरूपेण युध्येतां पुरुषर्षभी

sañjaya uvāca |

yadi nāhaṃ parityājyo yuvābhyām iha saṃyuge |

vikrameṇānurūpeṇa yudhyetāṃ puruṣarṣabhī ||

Sañjaya said: “If, here in this battle, you two do not deem it right to abandon me, then let Droṇācārya and you two—bulls among men—fight on, displaying valor befitting your strength.”
