भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ६२: वासुदेवमहात्म्यप्रशंसा (देव–ब्रह्मसंवादः)
श्रुत्वा तु वचन तुभ्यमाचार्यस्य कृपस्य च । कर्णेन सहित: कृत्यं चिन्तयानस्तदैव हि,“उस अवस्थामें आपका, आचार्यका तथा कृपका वचन सुनकर मैं कर्णके साथ उसी समय अपने कर्तव्यका निश्चय कर लेता
śrutvā tu vacanaṃ tubhyam ācāryasya kṛpasya ca | karṇena sahitaḥ kṛtyaṃ cintayānas tadaiva hi ||
Sañjaya said: Having heard those words addressed to you—spoken by the Teacher and by Kṛpa—I, together with Karṇa, at once began to deliberate upon what duty required and to resolve the proper course of action.
