Dhṛtarāṣṭra said: “Sañjaya, though Rāma Jāmadagnya (Paraśurāma) and the great-souled Vyāsa have tried to restrain him, Duryodhana remains ever intent on fighting. Even after being repeatedly counseled against war, he persists in a fixed resolve for battle—revealing a will hardened against wise advice and ethical restraint.”

Even the counsel of revered sages cannot help one who is inwardly resolved on adharma; moral failure here is shown as stubborn attachment to conflict despite repeated warnings.
Dhṛtarāṣṭra tells Sañjaya that Duryodhana remains continually set on fighting, despite attempts by Paraśurāma and Vyāsa to restrain him—highlighting Duryodhana’s unyielding war-mindedness.
