राजपुत्रान्‌ रथोदारानवधीच्छतसंघश: । इसी प्रकार उस महायुद्धमें श्वेत भी कौरवोंका संहार कर रहे थे। उन्होंने सैकड़ों श्रेष्ठ रथी राजकुमारोंका संहार कर डाला

sañjaya uvāca | rājaputrān rathodārān avadhīc chata-saṅghaśaḥ | evaṃ tasmin mahāyuddhe śveto 'pi kauravān saṃharan babhūva | sa śataśo vara-rathī rāja-putrān nihatyāpatat |

Sañjaya said: He slew the princely warriors—noble chariot-fighters—by the hundreds. Thus, in that great battle, Śveta too was cutting down the Kauravas; he destroyed hundreds of excellent chariot-born princes.
