The Blessed Lord said: “Very well—listen. I shall tell you of My own divine manifestations, O best of the Kurus, but only in their principal forms; for there is no end to the vastness of My expanse.”
अजुन उवाच
Kṛṣṇa affirms that His divine manifestations are limitless; therefore He will describe only the principal vibhūtis. Ethically, this guides the seeker to recognize the Divine through exemplary, elevating expressions rather than trying to exhaustively grasp the infinite.
After Arjuna requests a fuller account of Kṛṣṇa’s yogic power and manifestations, Kṛṣṇa agrees to speak, first noting that His expanse has no end and then promising a selective, chief-point description of His vibhūtis.
