Devotion to the Personal vs. Contemplation of the Imperishable
महर्षय: सप्त पूर्वे चत्वारोी35 मनवस्तथा । मद्धभावा मानसा जाता येषां लोक इमा: प्रजा:
arjuna uvāca | maharṣayaḥ sapta pūrve catvāro manavas tathā | madbhāvā mānasā jātā yeṣāṁ loka imāḥ prajāḥ ||
Arjuna said: The seven great seers, and the four Manus of earlier times as well—endowed with My own nature—were born from My mind and will. From them has arisen all this multitude of beings in the world.
