Kurukṣetra-sainyadarśana and Arjuna-viṣāda (धर्मक्षेत्रे समवेता युयुत्सवः — अर्जुनविषाद)
लब्ध्वा वरं तु कौन्तेयो मेने विजयमात्मन: । आरुरोह तत: पार्थो रथं परमसम्मतम्
labdhvā varaṁ tu kaunteyo mene vijayam ātmanaḥ | āruroha tataḥ pārtho rathaṁ paramasammatam ||
Sañjaya said: Having obtained the boon, the son of Kuntī became assured of victory for himself. Then Pārtha mounted his chariot, the most esteemed and excellent.
संजय उवाच
Divine favor received through devotion and right intention strengthens inner resolve; confidence grounded in dharma enables decisive action in the face of conflict.
After receiving a boon, Arjuna becomes convinced of his victory and immediately prepares for battle by mounting his highly esteemed chariot.
