Kurukṣetra-sainyadarśana and Arjuna-viṣāda (धर्मक्षेत्रे समवेता युयुत्सवः — अर्जुनविषाद)
इत्येवमुक्त्वा वरदा क्षणेनान्तरधीयत
sañjaya uvāca | ityevam uktvā varadā kṣaṇenāntaradhīyata |
Sañjaya said: Having spoken thus, the boon‑granting Goddess vanished from that place in an instant. Receiving her blessing, Arjuna, the son of Kunti, became firmly assured of victory; then he mounted his supremely beautiful chariot.
संजय उवाच
Divine grace strengthens righteous resolve: when a warrior aligns with dharma and seeks higher support with sincerity, fear gives way to steadfast confidence, enabling disciplined action in a just cause.
After granting a boon, the Goddess Durga vanishes instantly. Arjuna, reassured by the blessing, gains confidence of victory and mounts his chariot, preparing to proceed with the battle duties ahead.
