Kurukṣetra-sainyadarśana and Arjuna-viṣāda (धर्मक्षेत्रे समवेता युयुत्सवः — अर्जुनविषाद)

Sañjaya said: “You are unconquerable in battle; even Indra himself, the wielder of the thunderbolt, cannot defeat you. The goddess has declared that, O son of Pandu, you will soon gain victory over your foes. You are the very Nara, and Narayana stands as your helper—therefore on the battlefield you are invincible to those who oppose you.”

Righteous strength is amplified by divine alignment: when a warrior stands with dharma and has Narayana’s support, fear diminishes and confidence becomes ethically grounded rather than arrogant.
Sanjaya reports a proclamation of assurance: Arjuna (as Nara) is foretold to win soon, aided by Narayana; his prowess is described as so great that even Indra, the thunderbolt-wielder, could not defeat him in battle.
