Educational Q&A

Even in warfare, action is framed by responsibility: leaders arrange protection and placement so that power is used with foresight—guarding crucial agents and ensuring the vanguard is supported, reflecting disciplined, duty-bound conduct rather than reckless violence.

Sañjaya describes the Pāṇḍava battle-array: Śikhaṇḍinī’s contingent is positioned in the center under Arjuna’s protection, while Dhṛṣṭadyumna advances at the front with Bhīma as his protector.
