यावत् कृष्णो महाबाहु: स्वाधीन: कुरुसत्तम | तावत् पार्थेन शूरेण संधिस्ते तात युज्यताम्
sañjaya uvāca |
yāvat kṛṣṇo mahābāhuḥ svādhīnaḥ kurusattama |
tāvat pārthena śūreṇa sandhis te tāta yujyatām ||
Sañjaya said: “O best of the Kurus, so long as mighty-armed Kṛṣṇa remains within your influence and goodwill, let a reconciliation be concluded with the heroic Pārtha (Arjuna), dear child. This is the fitting moment.”
