Educational Q&A

The verse emphasizes restraint and discernment in discourse: some subjects admit only limited description, and a listener should accept what is appropriate and sufficient rather than demand exhaustive detail.

Sañjaya addresses King Dhṛtarāṣṭra and concludes a brief account of Śākadvīpa, stating that only a limited description is possible and that this limited account is what should be heard.
