अपन करा बछ। 2 (भूमिपर्व) एकादशो< ध्याय: शाकद्दवीपका वर्णन ध्तराष्ट्र रवाच जम्बूखण्डस्त्वया प्रोक्तो यथावदिह संजय । विष्कम्भमस्य प्रब्रूहि परिमाणं तु तत्त्वतः,धृतराष्ट्र बोले--संजय! तुमने यहाँ जम्बूखण्डका यथावत्‌ वर्णन किया है। अब तुम इसके विस्तार और परिमाणको ठीक-ठीक बताओ

Transliteration

dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca | jambū-khaṇḍas tvayā prokto yathāvad iha sañjaya | viṣkambham asya prabrūhi parimāṇaṃ tu tattvataḥ ||

Translation

Dhṛtarāṣṭra said: “Sañjaya, you have described Jambū-khaṇḍa here accurately. Now tell me precisely—truthfully and in full measure—its breadth and its true dimensions.”
