Multiple Defensive Engagements to Protect Bhīṣma

अपरे तु तदा55दाय वाजिनागरथान्‌ रणे । त्वरया परया युक्ताः प्राद्रवन्त विशाम्पते

apare tu tadā dāya vājinā gārathān raṇe | tvarayā parayā yuktāḥ prādravanta viśāmpate ||

Sañjaya said: Then others, having taken up their horses and chariots on the battlefield, and driven by utmost haste, rushed forward, O lord of the people.
