ततोडन्‍न्योन्यं प्रधावन्तः सम्प्रहारं प्रचक्रिरे । ततः: शब्देन महता प्रचकम्पे वसुन्धरा,दोनों पक्षके योद्धा एक-दूसरेपर धावा करते हुए अस्त्र-शस्त्रोंका प्रहार करने लगे। उस समय जो महान्‌ कोलाहल हुआ, उससे सारी पृथ्वी काँपने लगी

tato ’nyonyaṁ pradhāvantaḥ samprahāraṁ pracakrire | tataḥ śabdena mahatā pracakampe vasundharā ||
