Nakula’s Declaration and the Uñchavṛtti Brāhmaṇa’s Superior Merit (Āśvamedhika Parva, Adhyāya 92)

बीजैर्हि तं करिष्यामि नात्र विघ्नो भविष्यति । “यह बीज-यज्ञ मैंने बहुत वर्षोसे संचित कर रखा है। उन बीजोंसे ही मैं अपना यज्ञ पूरा कर लूँगा। इसमें कोई विघ्न नहीं होगा

bījair hi taṃ kariṣyāmi nātra vighno bhaviṣyati |

Vaiśampāyana said: “With those very seeds I shall accomplish that rite; there will be no obstruction in this.” The words proclaim steadfast resolve and confidence in fulfilling sacred duty with resources long gathered and preserved.
