Nakula’s Declaration and the Uñchavṛtti Brāhmaṇa’s Superior Merit (Āśvamedhika Parva, Adhyāya 92)
एतद् भवन्त: संचिन्त्य महर्षेरस्य धीमत: । अगस्त्यस्यातितपस: कर्तुमर्हन्त्यनुग्रहम्,“यह सोचकर आपलोग इन अत्यन्त तपस्वी बुद्धिमान् महर्षि अगस्त्यपर अनुग्रह करें (जिससे इनका यज्ञ निर्विष्न पूर्ण हो जाय)'
etad bhavantaḥ sañcintya maharṣer asya dhīmataḥ | agastyasyātitapasaḥ kartum arhanty anugraham ||
Vaiśampāyana said: “Keeping this in mind, you all should resolve to show favor to this wise great seer Agastya, whose austerities are extraordinary—so that his sacred rite may be completed without obstruction.”
