ततः कर्मान्तरे राजन्नगस्त्यस्य महात्मन: । कथेयमभिनिर्वत्ता मुनीनां भावितात्मनाम्,राजन! तब यज्ञकर्मके बीचमें अवकाश मिलनेपर जब विशुद्ध अन्तःकरणवाले मुनि एक-दूसरेसे मिलकर एक स्थानपर बैठे, तब उनमें महात्मा अगस्त्यजीके सम्बन्धमें इस प्रकार चर्चा होने लगी--

Then, O king, during an interval amid the sacrificial rites, when there was a moment of respite, the sages of purified hearts met together and sat in one place. And among them, this discussion arose concerning the great-souled Agastya—
