विश्वामित्रोडसितश्रैव जनकश्ष महीपति: । कक्षसेनार्टिषेणौ च सिन्धुद्वीपश्च पार्थिव:

Transliteration

Vaiśampāyana uvāca |

Viśvāmitro 'sitaś caiva Janakaś ca mahīpatiḥ |

Kakṣasena Ārtiṣeṇau ca Sindhudvīpaś ca pārthivaḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana said: Viśvāmitra, Asita, King Janaka, Kakṣasena, Ārtiṣeṇa, and the ruler Sindhudvīpa—these and many other kings and ascetics attained the highest accomplishment through gifts made from righteously acquired wealth and through steadfast truthfulness.
