Educational Q&A

Rightfully obtained wealth attains higher value when offered with reverence to a deserving recipient; dharma is expressed not only in acquiring justly but also in giving honorably and compassionately.

During the Ashvamedhika Parva context of post-war rites and distributions, Vyāsa receives a share of a large quantity of gold and then personally presents his portion to Kuntī as a respectful gift.
