द्वैपायनस्तथा कृष्ण: पुनरेव युधिछ्िरम्
dvaipāyanas tathā kṛṣṇaḥ punar eva yudhiṣṭhiram
Vaiśampāyana said: Then Dvaipāyana and Kṛṣṇa once again approached Yudhiṣṭhira—returning to him to continue their counsel and guidance after the great events, when righteous rule and moral steadfastness must be reaffirmed.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Righteous rule and inner steadiness are sustained through repeated return to wise counsel—especially from a sage (Vyāsa) and a dharmic guide (Kṛṣṇa)—so that a king does not drift from dharma amid the burdens of power and aftermath.
The narrator indicates a renewed meeting: Vyāsa (Dvaipāyana) and Kṛṣṇa come again to Yudhiṣṭhira, signaling continuation or renewal of instruction, deliberation, or reassurance connected with the Ashvamedha context and the reordering of the kingdom.
