धनं चास्मै ददुर्भूरि प्रीयमाणा महारथा: । उन सब लोगोंने प्रेमवश उसे छातीसे लगा लिया और उसका यथोचित सत्कार किया। इतना ही नहीं, बश्रुवाहनपर प्रसन्न हुए उन पाण्डव महारथियोंने उसे बहुत धन दिया ।।

Transliteration

dhanaṃ cāsmai dadur bhūri prīyamāṇā mahārathāḥ |

Translation

Pleased at heart, the great chariot-warriors bestowed abundant wealth upon him. Moved by affection, they embraced him and honored him in a fitting manner—an ethical gesture of gratitude and reconciliation after conflict, affirming respect for valor and right conduct.
