Transliteration

sa taiḥ premṇā pariṣvaktaḥ pūjitaś ca yathāvidhi

Translation

Vaiśampāyana said: He was embraced by them with affection, and he was duly honored according to the prescribed rites—an outward sign that love and proper conduct were being upheld together.
