ततो द्वारवतीं रम्यां वृष्णिवीराभिपालिताम्
tato dvāravatīṁ ramyāṁ vṛṣṇivīrābhipālitām
Then they went to lovely Dvāravatī, a splendid city safeguarded and governed by the heroic Vṛṣṇi warriors.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights an ideal of kṣatriya-dharma: true strength is shown in protecting and maintaining order. A beautiful city is not merely admired; it is sustained by vigilant guardianship and responsible rule.
