Ulūpī’s Disclosure and the Saṃjīvana-Maṇi: Arjuna’s Restoration (उलूपी-प्रकटनं संजीवनमणि-स्थापनं च)
स तत्र विधिवत् तेन पूजित: पाकशासनि: । भायभ्यामभ्यनुज्ञात: प्रायाद् भरतसत्तम:
sa tatra vidhivat tena pūjitaḥ pākaśāsaniḥ | bhāryābhyām abhyanujñātaḥ prāyād bharatasattamaḥ ||
There, Babhruvāhana duly honored Arjuna—best among the Bharatas and son of Indra—according to proper rites. Then, having obtained the consent of his two wives, he departed from that place.
अर्जुन उवाच
Even eminent heroes should act within dharma: accept honors with modesty, observe proper ritual conduct, and proceed only with rightful consent in domestic and social matters.
Babhruvāhana formally honors Arjuna. After receiving this hospitality, Arjuna takes leave, departing only after obtaining the permission of his two wives.
