हतशिष्टेन सैन्येन समन्तात् परिवार्य तम् । अथोपविविशुर्द्वश हृदस्थं पञच पाण्डवा:,तदनन्तर हर्षमें भरे हुए पाँचों पाण्डव मरनेसे बची हुई सेनाके द्वारा उसपर चारों ओरसे घेरा डालकर तालाबमें बैठे हुए दुर्योधनके पास जा पहुँचे
hataśiṣṭena sainyena samantāt parivārya tam | athopaviviśur dvāśa hṛdasthaṃ pañca pāṇḍavāḥ ||
Vāsudeva said: Then the five Pāṇḍavas, filled with exultation, surrounded him on all sides with the remnants of their army and approached Duryodhana, who was seated within the lake.

After the battle, the five Pāṇḍavas, accompanied by the surviving remnants of their forces, encircle and approach Duryodhana, who has taken refuge by sitting within a lake.
