इन्द्रियाणि मनो युड्धक्ते सदश्चानिव सारथि: । इन्द्रियाणि मनो बुद्धि: क्षेत्रज्ञे युज्यते सदा,जैसे सारथि अच्छे घोड़ोंको अपने काबूमें रखता है, उसी प्रकार मन सम्पूर्ण इन्द्रियोंपर शासन करता है। इन्द्रिय, मन और बुद्धि--ये सदा क्षेत्रज्ञके साथ संयुक्त रहते हैं
Translation
As a skilled charioteer keeps fine horses under control, so the mind rules over all the senses. The senses, the mind, and the intellect (buddhi) are ever conjoined with the Knower of the Field (kṣetrajña).
