Educational Q&A

The verse frames wealth as something to be sought with guidance and feasibility in mind, implying that acquisition should be aligned with dharma and undertaken through proper means under the counsel of the wise.

Yudhiṣṭhira respectfully questions an ascetic authority about the present whereabouts of a certain needed wealth and asks the practical method by which he and his companions might obtain it—setting up guidance for a forthcoming course of action.
