समुद्र उवाच महर्षिर्जमदग्निस्ते यदि राजन् परिश्रुत: । तस्य पुत्रस्तवातिथ्यं यथावत् कर्तुमहति,समुद्रने कहा--राजन्! यदि तुमने महर्षि जमदग्निका नाम सुना हो तो उन्हींके आश्रमपर चले जाओ। उनके पुत्र परशुरामजी तुम्हारा अच्छी तरह सत्कार कर सकते हैं
samudra uvāca: maharṣir jamadagnis te yadi rājan pariśrutaḥ | tasya putras tavātithyaṃ yathāvat kartum arhati ||
The Ocean said: “O King, if you have heard of the great seer Jamadagni, then go to his hermitage. His son Paraśurāma is worthy and able to extend to you proper hospitality.”
