Vaiśampāyana said: Then the Pāṇḍava king, radiant with joy, having heard the words of Satyavatī’s son (Vyāsa), resolved in his mind to undertake a sacrifice with that wealth; and again and again he deliberated on the matter with his ministers.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
A dharmic ruler does not act merely from excitement or personal satisfaction; even for a sacred goal like a yajña, he forms a considered resolve and seeks repeated counsel from ministers, aligning resources, intention, and public responsibility.
After hearing Vyāsa’s words, King Yudhiṣṭhira becomes pleased and decides to use the obtained wealth to perform a sacrifice; he then consults his ministers repeatedly to plan and confirm the undertaking.
