अध्याय ९ — धृतराष्ट्रस्य युधिष्ठिरं प्रति राजनित्युपदेशः

Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Counsel on Royal Policy to Yudhiṣṭhira

साधु साध्विति सर्व: स जन: प्रतिगृहीतवान्‌ । वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! साम्बके धर्मानुकूल और उत्तम गुणयुक्त वचन सुनकर समस्त प्रजा उन्हें सादर साधुवाद देने लगी तथा सबने उनकी बातका अनुमोदन किया

sādhu sādhv iti sarvaḥ sa janaḥ pratigṛhītavān |

Vaiśampāyana said: Hearing those words—aligned with dharma and marked by noble qualities—the entire assembly of people responded with respectful acclaim, saying “Well said, well said,” and accepted and endorsed what had been spoken.
