Bhīmasya paruṣa-vākyaṃ
Bhīma’s Harsh Speech Heard by Dhṛtarāṣṭra and Gāndhārī
“जब तुम वनमें चले गये थे, उन दिनों तेरह वर्षोतक अपने पुत्रके अधीन रहनेवाले विशाल राज्यका इन्होंने उपभोग किया और नाना प्रकारके धन दिये हैं ।।
tvayā cāyaṃ naravyāghra guruśuśrūṣayānagha | ārādhitaḥ sabhṛtyena gāndhārī ca yaśasvinī ||
Vaiśampāyana said: “When you went to the forest, in those days for thirteen years he enjoyed and administered the vast kingdom that stood secured in your son’s line, and he bestowed wealth of many kinds. And you too, O tiger among men, O sinless one—together with your attendants—have honored and served him with the spirit of devoted attendance upon one’s elders; and you have likewise paid due reverence to the illustrious queen Gāndhārī.”
