वैशम्पायन उवाच
A boon offered by a realized sage is not treated as a casual gift but as a dharmic obligation: one should accept it with humility and trust, recognizing the sage’s fulfilled intention and benevolent resolve.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that a great sage, pleased and having completed his purpose, insists that Vaiśampāyana must accept the boon being granted, emphasizing certainty and duty in receiving it.
