नारदेन धृतराष्ट्रगतिवर्णनम् | Nārada’s Account of Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Future Course

न कृतं यै: पुरा कैश्वित्‌ कर्म लोके महर्षिभि: । आश्चर्यभूतं तपस: फलं तद्‌ दर्शयामि व:

Translation

“What no great ṛṣi in former times ever accomplished in this world—a deed wondrous indeed—today I shall show you. Today I will reveal to you the astonishing fruit of my tapas (austerity).”
