कुन्तीनिवर्तनप्रयत्नः तथा वननिवासप्रारम्भः
Attempt to Dissuade Kuntī; Commencement of Forest Residence
अयं पुनर्मत्तगजेन्द्रगामी प्रतप्तचामीकरशुद्धगौर: । पृथ्वायतांस: पृथुदीर्घबाहु- वैकोदर: पश्यत पश्यतेमम्
ayaṁ punar mattagajendragāmī prataptacāmīkaraśuddhagaurāḥ | pṛthvāyatāṁsaḥ pṛthudīrghabāhur vaiko daraḥ paśyata paśyatemam ||
Sañjaya said: “Behold—here he comes again—moving with the majestic gait of an intoxicated lordly elephant, radiant like refined gold heated in the fire, broad-shouldered, with long and powerful arms, and a mighty belly. Look, look at him!”
