तन्निमित्तं महाबाहो दान दद्यास्त्वमुत्तमम् । सदैव भ्रातृभि: सार्ध सूर्यजस्यारिमर्दन,महाबाहो! शत्रुमर्दन! तुम अपने भाइयोंके साथ सदा ही सूर्यपुत्र कर्णके लिये भी उत्तम दान देते रहना
tannimittaṃ mahābāho dānaṃ dadyās tvam uttamam | sadaiva bhrātṛbhiḥ sārdhaṃ sūryajasya arimardana ||
Vaiśampāyana said: “Therefore, O mighty-armed one, you should always offer excellent gifts. And, O crusher of foes, do so continually together with your brothers—also in honor of Karṇa, the son of the Sun.”
