Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
भीष्म उवाच इत्युक्त्वा हेमगर्भाणि हित्वा तानि फलानि वै | ऋषयो जम्मुरन्यत्र सर्व एव धृतव्रता:,भीष्मजी कहते हैं--युधिष्ठिर! यह कहकर उन सुवर्णयुक्त फलोंका परित्याग करके वे समस्त व्रतधारी महर्षि वहाँसे अन्यत्र चले गये
bhīṣma uvāca | ity uktvā hemagarbhāṇi hitvā tāni phalāni vai | ṛṣayo jagmur anyatra sarva eva dhṛtavratāḥ |
Bhishma said: “Having spoken thus, all those steadfast sages renounced those fruits filled with gold and departed from that place to elsewhere.”
