Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्

त उक्त्वा बाढमित्येवं सर्व एव तदा समम्‌ | क्षुधार्ता: सुपरिश्रान्ता: शपथायोपचक्रमु:,शपथकी बात सुनकर सब-के-सब बोल उठे--“बहुत अच्छा'। फिर वे भूखसे पीड़ित और परिश्रमसे थके-माँदे ब्राह्मण एक साथ ही शपथ खानेको तैयार हो गये

ta uktvā bāḍham ity evaṁ sarva eva tadā samam | kṣudhārtāḥ supariśrāntāḥ śapathāyopacakramuḥ ||

Having heard those words, all of them together replied, “Very well.” Then those brāhmaṇas—afflicted by hunger and utterly worn out by exertion—collectively prepared to take the oath.
