एतत् ते सर्वमाख्यातं पावनं च महाद्युते । पवित्र परमं चापि गवां माहात्म्यमुत्तमम्,महाद्युते! यह सब मैंने तुमसे गौओंका परम पावन, परम पवित्र और अत्यन्त उत्तम माहात्म्य कहा है
etat te sarvam ākhyātaṃ pāvanaṃ ca mahādyute | pavitraṃ paramaṃ cāpi gavāṃ māhātmyam uttamam ||
Bhīṣma said: “O radiant one, I have now told you everything—this purifying and supremely sacred account of the cows, their highest and most excellent greatness.”
