अश्रौष॑ पतितश्नाहं यमस्योच्चै: प्रभाषत: । वासुदेव: समुद्धर्ता भविता ते जनार्दन:,“गिरते समय उच्चस्वरसे बोलते हुए यमराजकी यह बात मेरे कानोंमें पड़ी--“महाराज! एक हजार दिव्य वर्ष पूर्ण होनेपर तुम्हारे पापकर्मका भोग समाप्त होगा। उस समय जनार्दन भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्ण आकर तुम्हारा उद्धार करेंगे और तुम अपने पुण्यकर्मोके प्रभावसे प्राप्त हुए सनातन लोकोंमें जाओगे”

aśrauṣaṁ patitaśnāhaṁ yamasyoccaiḥ prabhāṣataḥ | vāsudevaḥ samuddhartā bhavitā te janārdanaḥ ||

As I was falling, I heard Yama speak aloud: “Janārdana Vāsudeva will be your deliverer. When the term of your sinful deeds is exhausted, he will come to raise you up, and you will attain the eternal worlds gained by the power of your meritorious acts.”
