भिक्षवे बहुपुत्राय श्रोत्रियायाहिताग्नये । दत्त्वा दशगवां दाता लोकानाप्रोत्यनुत्तमान्
Translation
Bhishma said: “If one gives ten cows to a Brahmin who is begging—one who has many sons, is a śrotriya (learned in the Vedas), and maintains the sacred agnihotra fire (āhitāgni)—the giver attains the highest worlds.”
