तस्या: सम्पृच्छमानाया देवर्षिनरिदस्ततः । आचरष्ट विधिवत सर्व तच्छृणुष्व विशाम्पते,प्रजानाथ! देवकीके इस प्रकार पूछनेपर देवर्षि नारदने उस समय विधिपूर्वक सब बातें बतायीं। वे ही बातें मैं तुमसे कहता हूँ, सुनो

tasyāḥ sampṛcchamānāyā devarṣir naradas tataḥ | ācarat vidhivat sarvaṃ tac chṛṇuṣva viśāmpate prajānātha ||

Bhishma said: “When she thus inquired, the divine seer Nārada then explained everything in due ritual and proper order. Hear from me those very matters, O lord of the people, O ruler of men.”

Educational Q&A
