इत्येतत्‌ सर्वदानानां श्रेष्ठमुक्ते तवानघ । मया भरतशार्दूल कि भूय: श्रोतुमिच्छसि,निष्पाप भरतश्रेष्ठ! इस प्रकार मैंने सब दानोंमें श्रेष्ठ पृथ्वीदानका माहात्म्य तुम्हें बताया है, अब और क्या सुनना चाहते हो?

Transliteration

ity etat sarva-dānānāṁ śreṣṭham ukte tavānagha | mayā bharata-śārdūla ki bhūyaḥ śrotum icchasi niṣpāpa bharata-śreṣṭha ||

Translation

Bhishma said: “Thus, O sinless one, I have declared to you what is the foremost of all gifts. O tiger among the Bharatas, what more do you wish to hear? O faultless best of the Bharatas!”
