एवं बुद्धिं समास्थाय दिवसानेकविंशतिम् । सुप्तो5स्मि यदि मां कश्चिद् बोधयेदिति पार्थिव,भूपते! यही विचार मनमें लेकर मैं इक्कीस दिनोंतक एक करवटसे सोता रहा कि कोई मुझे बीचमें आकर जगावे
evaṁ buddhiṁ samāsthāya divasānekaviṁśatim | supto 'smi yadi māṁ kaścid bodhayed iti pārthiva ||
Chyavana said: “Having resolved upon this intention, O king, I lay sleeping for twenty-one days, thinking, ‘If someone should come and awaken me.’”
