अध्याय ५६ — च्यवन–कुशिकसंवादः
Cyavana–Kuśika Dialogue on Lineage, Conflict, and Transmission
ततस्तु तौ नवमभिवीक्ष्य यौवन परस्परं विगतरुजाविवामरौ । ननन्दतु: शयनगतौ वपुर्धरी श्रिया युतौ द्विजवरदत्तया तदा
tatastu tau navam abhivīkṣya yauvanaṁ parasparaṁ vigatarujāv ivāmarau | nanandatuḥ śayanagatau vapurdharī śriyā yutau dvijavaradattayā tadā ||
Bhishma said: Then the two of them, beholding in one another the fresh onset of youth, appeared free from all affliction like the gods. Lying upon their bed, they rejoiced greatly. Having assumed new bodies endowed with splendid beauty bestowed by the foremost of twice-born sages (Cyavana), the husband and wife were filled with happiness.
