अध्याय ५६ — च्यवन–कुशिकसंवादः
Cyavana–Kuśika Dialogue on Lineage, Conflict, and Transmission
तथैव च स राजर्षिस्तस्थौ तां रजनीं तदा । सभार्यों वाग्यत: श्रीमानू न च कोपं समाविशत्
tathaiva ca sa rājarṣis tasthau tāṃ rajanīṃ tadā | sa-bhāryo vāg-yataḥ śrīmān na ca kopaṃ samāviśat ||
Bhishma said: “In the same manner, that royal sage remained standing there throughout that night. Though accompanied by his wife, the illustrious king-sage kept his speech restrained, and no surge of anger entered his mind.”
