Shloka 76

देवाक्षाप्यस्य नाश्नन्ति पापस्य ब्राह्मुणद्विष: । ब्राह्मण जिसका अन्न नहीं खाते उसके अन्नको पितर भी नहीं स्वीकार करते। उस ब्राह्मणद्रोही पापात्माका अन्न देवता भी नहीं ग्रहण करते हैं

devāḥ kṣāpy asya nāśnanti pāpasya brāhmaṇadviṣaḥ |

Bhīṣma said: “Even the gods do not accept the expiatory offerings of a sinful man who bears hatred toward brāhmaṇas. One who is hostile to brāhmaṇas becomes unfit for sacred participation: his food and offerings are rejected in the religious order, signaling that enmity toward the custodians of Vedic dharma destroys the merit of rites and severs support from the divine sphere.”
